H1B Visa's

terrible discussion on power lunch... the H1B visa program is about bringing in cheep programmers and engineers from asia(india is in asia).

Look into the H1B visa program, and you realize they are not bringing in High quality talent, they are bringing in guys making 17-24K. and some computer companies become dominated by indian programmers and it then becomes zenephobia by them to only bring in Indian programers.

and the idea that you have a Computer science degree and you walk out and can only get a 17K job. you start to see what is wrong in our economy. Highly educated and can't get a job that makes a living wage.

they need to make the H1B visa program for what it's supposed to be to bring in High quality tallent and make a minimum wage for them to come in, Like 100K. and if microsoft wants to move... let them, what is the point of havng them be an american company with no american employees.
