The Reasons why Rocky Is Awesome

... Or certainly better than watching Kudlow...

First. It's one of those first few movies that Sylvester Stallone did, It's in the Vein with "V", "F.I.S.T". If you don't know Stallone wrote many of his movies, and before he was an Action star, He actually wrote some Decent stuff.

Second. It has all the elements of an Anti Hero. An Everyman who Struggles with his on Mortality.

Third. Do you know how Nerdy hot, Talia Shire is? Seriously, Works in a Pet shop, you have no idea what a little hottie she is, then she pulls off the glasses and you see this Cute Young Spinster.... It's just Super Hot!!

Fourth. He doesn't win! It's one of those things where the Audience would have preferred it, and normally the producers would have forced him to win. But they let the movie Be. And it makes it a Better Movie. It's like Dinner, one would prefer it to be covered with sugar, and yet if it was... it wouldn't be as good.

Last, this whole undercurrent of "underclass" struggle, struggling with their own daemons... etc.

Other than that... It's just a good movie....
