.... Right, I get that letter about my violation. Then I get a call,
*ring*
(I can see on the caller ID, it's them)
Me, "Hi, I'm in trouble aren't I."
"you got our letter?"
"yep."
"we are just calling to make sure you understand."
"Yes, I messed up, it was just a crazy week."
"Darn Right it was."
"You know, You can switch it over, to margin. You just need to come in and sign the agreement, if you want to trade like that."
(BTW I tried to do it with this account 4 months ago, and couldn't find the office(And let me just Fess up, I don't have an Envelope, or stamps... Ok, I have stamps but no Envelope, If you want me to send something to you, I need an envelope, sorry!), Originally I only put in enough for the bare minimum, for an account, so that I had Multiple streams for data.)
"I know, I was wrong. I was just Freaking out. Realized I was Completely Wrong. My bad"
(This isn't true, I was Trading the intraday swings, every 3 days, because they were so Juicy.) (When we didn't capitulate on Monday, it threw me off. and the cash account hadn't settled and I had overtraded, So I had to manipulate the rules a bit, to make sure that the account participated in the rally.(I also knew that they would hand slap me for it)
(of course, lock it up if I was wrong.)
"Well the first time, we don't normally do anything. Just get that agreement to us."
"Yes, You are right, I was wrong."
"oh, BTW Good job."
(It would be lude to talk about what I did to that account in the past 2 weeks. Worst part I'm gong to have my broker, looking at my account for trades.)
Financial history doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes. You can't be stupid enough to trade off anything I say.... I'm lucky they let me out of the straight-jacket long enough to trade.
