...Charlie "Fighting for the micro economic rights of Restaurateurs/Waiters/and Bar Maids all around NYC" Gasparino...
(for those not addicted to CNBC, Charlie defended bonuses for Wall street because of the trickle down effects on restaurants. The irony of this statement is very apropos, in our current climate of Contentious 'Supply side' and 'Demand side' stimulus debate.Up for debate is if he intended the irony, or just being an ass. It's tough to tell the difference sometimes.)
Originally, the phrase was "an old farm boy", which was the reason for the (an, a) grammatical error. I wasn't comfortable with the illiteration, and corrected it, forgetting to change it to 'a farm boy'(Funny, I just looked up 'illiteration', and it's actually not a word.. In fact ironically it seems illiteration, is an illiteration.I'm not sure, but you may be able to get away with ill iteration, or ill-iteration.)
On another note; don't you think that instead of calling that segment, where Charlie shouts somebody down, or "Bogarts" that paragraph, "Call of the Wild", they should call it 'Throw the Christian to the Lion'
Have I mentioned my propensity to 'Go on, and on' fridays? It's either that or I'm just sensitive to it on Friday.
:)
Financial history doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes. You can't be stupid enough to trade off anything I say.... I'm lucky they let me out of the straight-jacket long enough to trade.
