If it wasn't for "Eastern Culture"; Islam, and the Middle East. Little of those Writings would never have been recovered. While "Western Culture" was living under the Yolk of Feudalism, in the east they develop the concept of "Light as an External Beam",
and the Zero, which makes negative numbers and advanced math possible.
