Financial history doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes. You can't be stupid enough to trade off anything I say.... I'm lucky they let me out of the straight-jacket long enough to trade.

george stephanopoulos and a Table Full of Extreemist Wonks

I've decided that is what we need to call "This Week with George stephanopoulus"

Pushing the Limit of Rational discussion "This Week" are:

http://media.eyeblast.org/Thumbs/14269.jpg
George Will:
"The Government doesn't want any of the banks to give back the TARP because they want to control Credit"
(If that is true, they sure are doing a Lousy job of it)

Newt "The Shill" Gingrich:
"We are spending more money... Bla Bla Bla (Implies that we are becoming Zimbabwe)"
(Krugman shuts him down by saying Advanced Nations can easily go to 100% of GDP, and we are 6-8 Trillion away from that. Maybe that is a concern in 8 years.)
"Paul is right,(Well Dumb ass why did you say the other Nonsense then)" Then Newt starts suggesting we need a Spending Freeze. To which Krugman Audibly Gasps.

Paul Krugman:
We all know Krugman" The world is screwed, nothing will work. He is offended that Roubini is "Dr. Doom" and not him, and he wants to be on "The team of Rivals".Maybe we can call him "Dr. Naysayer"

So... George, how if next week we get some new opinions.... I don't care if you find more Extremists... But could we get New ones. I've heard this same Stuff for 4 weeks.

Next up, Meet the Press : The guys with Planet Money on NPR, spend time trying to Misinform Dick Gregory, and the rest of America, as they try and convince people they are Economists.

Alright here is my bitch..... this economic crisis has gone on for 2 years now. That is 104 chances, once a week the Sunday morning shows have a chance to feed the Brains of America. Every week it's the same thing; 104 chances to hear Krugman, Roubini, Pauson, Frank, Gingrich... or their proxies. THEY HAVE BEEN ON A LOOP FOR 2 YEARS.

HOW ABOUT SOMETHING NEW!
how about Brad Delong, or someone from the CFR,
George Soros, Robert Reich, or Carl Icahn.

How if we have a debate on Socialism, Investor rights, How about a debate on the New Deal!.

I guess the Sunday morning shows don't even want to try.
