So... I watched as much of options monkeys as I could stand..
I'm completely blown out... Long week... Funny, Right so break even on my trades I have to go down 20%. I just want it to resolve.
I don't like how "Excited" everyone is about banks.
Also and this pains me TeraNova was throwing out the idea of potential upside in JPM and WFC, Macke picked up "C"....
Macke is a good trader... My biggest issue with him is just getting emotional about it all. I also heard how bad the "securitized commercial loans were"... Yep... securitized those too to No doc borrowers.... Would you believe, I thought about borrowing some money and starting a coffee shop 2 years ago.... All as part of my thesis, why go through the trouble to go to a commercial bank where they would expect you to have a Buisness plan, and meet you, when you can go to one of the securitization firms, fill out some paperwork and get a check. Of course some of the firms do end up "Reaching for Yield"
So... it's saturday morning... I just want this to resolve.
Brian just pointed out this story. One can go into the "Nav" of the whole thing, or whatever. I figured as things got worse,or as Proshares got greedy, we would see them get worse. That whole "nav" thing seemed like a good excuse for them to skim off the top going both ways. And the more they can get away with the more they will try. Human Nature. As long as the trend remains, overall you are good, but in choppy trading they will skrew you, If we go down 1% they will take 1% of your 2%, and if we go up 1%, you will lose 2.5%... etc.... etc.. and if we trade choppy you could lose 1 % every day.. so you need a trend that gains 2% every day.
In other news... Australian open starts sunday.... Be sure I'll be booring you with details for then next 2 or 3 weeks.
Well I'm trying to convince myself I still run.
Financial history doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes. You can't be stupid enough to trade off anything I say.... I'm lucky they let me out of the straight-jacket long enough to trade.
