nice little rant there aboout tibet..

Hopefully I can get through this rant today. With this Russian Georgian war over oil.... It has me in a rant.....
And one of my thesis' all wars are about resources... It's why we don't care about Darfour... Not enough resources... If they had Billions of Gallons of Oil, we would be all about the "Human Tragedy"

So...... My Quick History of EAST MEETS WEST....
and a conflict Is Born.

Some Neolithic Greek Guy, is out in his boat in the Aegean sea.

He has his fishing net out, Throws it out.... Fishing is ok....... He sees some other guy in a boat.... Over there the fishing is better. So he goes over there and throws his net out next to some other guy.... somehow the nets get tangled... and they get in a fight....
The Other guy is from the East side of The Dardanelles/Hellespont. And as such When one of the Nets is torn, the responsibility can't be disputed by the local Tribal council..... Each guy goes back to their Stone age Friends, and............

The Persian Wars Start...... And it's all over Who could Capture the Resource Rich Aegean Sea.... And this War has gone on Ever since..... East Vs West..... First It's fishing, then Spices, and the fact that the Persians were more civilized, and managed to maintain a better Knowledge base(Books), than the West..... As we then started fighting over the Mediterranean.... and called it "The Crusades." Damn Heathen!!!!!! non Christians!!!

Everything was forgotten about until we had an 18th century Oil Boom, and suddenly..... There it is Again.... The Jews suddenly want Jerusalem, The Christians are all worked up about it Too. We are over there with the Oil companies behind us saying "We have to Civilize the Hethins"....."DRILL DRILL DRILL"

And Again..... We are fighting the same Bullshit war over the same crap.... But never calling it what it is.... Because people won't fight for Oil, or Fish, or spices... But they will fight for "Self-Determination." or "Jesus" or "Mohamed" or "Buddha".......

Cause the Jesus we believe in Wants you to kill
