So... Sitting here through the Opening ceremonies.


I'm reminded of all the:

Myopic, Parochial, Racist... Backwards thinking.

Certainly the Chinese arn't immune,

but by everyone else.

I've heard things like "Damn Chinese are buying up all the materials." Like it's a conspiracy to bring "us" down... whoever we are.

Ideas Like China, is trying to take over the world...... Somehow by assimilating Capitalism. Maybe china is still Communist, maybe they still are many bad, awful things going on there.... but when I look at china... I don't see "The Evil Red Empire."....

Today I see chinese moving slowly from what they were, into what they want to be. Contrasted with The Russians, who Imploded and still suffer the transitional pains from moving Too Fast into our Global World.

and we all move from what we have been, into this Greater Story.

I see the birth of a Nation into the story of ..... Into the New Story... Into The Start of something Great... A Global Story... One where, we are stronger together, than we are apart...

I see the Fireworks.... I think.... "If this moment were a stock, I'd short it"...

But isn't that Horse is out of the barn.... So What is next?

What if the Market Has Bottomed, And What if China, as a stock.... Now is a Buy... and so Is Global Growth.

I imagine there will be growing Pains.

But what if this event Is part of what will mark the Greatest Bull Market... Greatest Global Bull Market Anyone has ever experienced.

Because, They aren't the enemy.... They are new members of the global Community.... New Consumers, New Producers, New Ideas, New Members of a stronger world.

And no we aren't decoupled.... But that may not mean Global Depression

For all the Bear Grumbling.... It's what could turn this Economic Nightmare, into long, but Marginal Recession.

And we are stronger Together, than we are apart.
