I can't get a chart going right now... I'm just totally out of practice.

Tony E-mailed me, asked if monday we had a bottom. I said... "it doesn't feel like "we are going to crash" sentiment, there is still some optimisum. We had a nice run... everyone got very excited... and we rolled back over.

This bounce sort of felt wave 4 to me. feels like a move to 1050 on the spx is in the cards. I nice little bear trap below there would sort of feel "Right" some kind of "look out below!!!

tony asked about my indicator and how I read it... if 10 is euphoria. well we are now at a 2 or a 3. futures are up fairly significantly... I just think that like I say "futures are sentiment" that is not exactly "Negative".

I'm keeping an eye on it... I just think the market will have to test on a quarterly basis that 1050 level. or somewhere in there. It just seems silly not to try.

Well... I was looking at sentiment... it doesn't seem like we are there.

Classicly a bounce this week as the options expire. All the Put buying over the past month.. should honestly start losing their value.

but I'm a bit rusty... but sentiment isn't quite there.

so... a bounce at the beginning of the week... well we may need to see all the options expire then after that we can get a good Woosh....

so... I'll try and keep track... I'm rusty... and very busy these days... I guess on my DSI scale... a 1 being panic a 10 being euphoria. we are at a 3.

We had a nice little sell off on good news. My stuff says that isn't a good thing. If we can keep selling we should get a significant Retest. Of course I doubt a retest of the 2008 low, of course that I say that.... seems like some form of sentiment.

Wow... didn't know I was still alive? I'm just super busy, and try and avoid this nightmare of Market people. I was doing some reading a few months ago about psycopaths, one of the lead researchers suggested that if you couldn't study them in jail, the second best place to research them would be global stock markets.

I'm trying very hard to pull off some trading while ignoring all the egocentric bullshit, the market has to offer. Not spend hours paying attention to the tickers and trying to gage sentiment through broader means. Many people breathing a sigh of relief these days.

Re: market action.... if we can keep moving up... it's all still just denial stage. I've been out in the economy for the past Months. It's not good, some solid jobs are coming back but there are some very strange things going on. Some serious worker exploitation. I guess all of that is obvious with all the Labor issues going on. It honestly feels like some of the last desperate stands by the entitled. (buy entitled, I mean the aristocracy)

It's been a great year for me. Fucking Amazing if I do say so myself.

futures are down.. 15 which isn't a shit load... so that is good for the bears.

I spent a few hours looking at things over the weekend. You have to understand... I sleep well. 8-10 hours per night. I work all day, unless I goof off, I put in 12-16 hour days. Goofing off is a few hours of cycling. This isn't 6 hours of work of staring at the TICK chart trying to convince myself 'I'm working' then trying to get other work done.

the market is going up, or the market is going down. It's that easy. It's hard because your money is involved.

I spent a few hours on friday... and a few hours on the weekend, in Market land... You People are in HELL!

I don't know why Y'all do it to yourselves. Staying up all night, Stressing... Gritting your teeth. I guarantee you will live 10 years less if not 30... and look at what your life is like! 20-50 years of "Tick Chart".. and listening to the Blubber fest of CNBC and Bloomberg.

Yesterday, I woke up, and one of the programs I had to have working, completely freaked out on me. I spent all day Friday, trying to get a different program to work properly. I couldn't take another day of "Fixing Programs", and worse, it was not a problem on "my end".

So... I hit Eject, and went to the Greenhouse.
This is what it looks like.... This is just where half the vegetables are.
Now, below is my greenhouse, a week ago, my sister, who is a shit Gardner(sibling stuff here)... and seriously... I fucking Rock!
she is just trying to keep up..... Irregardless(Hat tip Sandy/Turbo.. I know it isn't a word), My sister sent me some plants, They were the ones she didn't want to transplant in her own greenhouse. I've been a slacker, and couldn't get seedlings started... Sure I rock!! but I'm super Busy!... Blogging and what not... I have a policy, I only grow things in the greenhouse, that I can't buy. So only Heirloom Tomatoes, Only special Varieties of things. It's cheaper and better for the environment, if it's done commercially. And I support local Growers.
but, beyond the Extras, my sister gave me (seriously she grew roma's and some Cherry... I asked her "what kind of cherry tomatoes", and she looked at me like I was from outer space).. BTW there is a Cherry tomato and a Grape cherry tomato. I'll bet she gave me something in between.... furthermore, Roma's are good for Canning, but not the best for sandwiches, which is what my sister wants... but she does Roma's because I do roma's for canning.....

you want some nerd stuff, the heirloom of the roma is called tomato rosa, and it's slight variations.
So, these are the sickly tomato plants she gave me.... they are in rough shape
This is post transplant, We will see how they Fair.
one thing she did was put the tomatoes and tried to grow them in Styrofoam cups. of course she doesn't have regular cups... nor could she poke holes in the bottom for drainage, so they were building up fungus, and root rot.. as well as suffocating, in the water...

Roots have to breath, if water stagnates on a plant, over the roots, the roots will actually rot and suffocate.

Here I am transplanting, and trying to get them back into shape. I didn't do a very good after picture. sometimes plants get to close together, and they grow Up, instead of out. So you have to spread them out......

All of this is prep for putting them in the ground at the end of the month, in the next 30 days, I'll probably double the number of plants in the greenhouse. What you can see, is the greenhouse at 10% capacity.... I can crank out plants... but maybe that will be something for next year.

I was going through the industrial part of town. On a saturday, if they are busy, from 9-noon is when most companies will do overtime. Everybody sleeps in, comes in, does some work, and moves on with their life.

Most the business' were close, those that looked like someone was there, it looked like "The boss" or the "owner" and it was his car only.

The only businesses open were Automotive, either fixing cars older than 5 years, or Luxury cars getting the air conditioning worked on. There were some retail places that were "Open" but nobody was there.

There wasn't anything do to really, The market since it moved up out of the "Trap" moved into "No-Man's Land" ... and we have "No-Man's Sentiment". We put in a nice move up at the close, I put on a little "Suicide Trade"... but didn't like selling it at 11K. But the suicide trade, felt like it should.... That is just stupid trader shit, selling 11k. It's very much in "No man's land"

Monday is the Anticipatory Options Pivot.
Friday is expiration.
Earnings should start, but still be quite next week

I'd suspect a down bar on Tuesday, then "We will see" After a bit of a "Downswing" from Monday to Tuesday, We will need to Look at the Upswing, after that....

Either it will make a new high or it won't.

In the Future... "We will See"... But I do not know.

We seem Very quite, 90-95% bullish, with the exception of good old Doug Kass. Sentiment wise he is a Pain in the ass, If he can STFU, we can get something out of it.... But just because he is raindancing, doesn't mean we can't have a top...... or certainly a Swing.

On the last downswing, it seemed like even Kudlow, was tired and ready for a correction, and Bob Pisani... He too was ready for a correction... Those are the spooky ones....

Yesterday, this was my concern. A pull back, at my target, was a break of that Pervious High from Thursday before last. See it on the above daily

And it means we managed a "Reversal Pattern" today. So that level is what to watch. And it is a good looking Wave 4 into a 5. Tony and I traded it roughly perfectly today. I would expect for it to continue to be bearish, BUT we need to go down and test the uptrend line. Shown in white With Green Arrows. The market did set a very nice "Trap" for the bears, at that level.

Regardless, it really looks like the trade of last resort doesn't it?

we will see.... it seems like there is time for us to get some follow through.... See another Bar!

Ok, that probably isn't true. I'm on my vitamin B supplements, and REALLY TIRED!

I ended up doing 2 workouts yesterday. The first one, I don't even remember. Followed by the one I posted yesterday.
I didn't want to give the impression I was "Calling top" (hell, this scares me as a contrarian indicator.... But.... Never did mind about the little things.. I think, With warning season, a wain in sentiment.... there is "Some kind of Pullback" here.Maybe even enough of a trap to get them below that lower red line, or the Yellow arrow.... Or just a pullback to the red arrow or something. THEN WE GET AN UPSWING!!!... Then We see.

The thing, I don't think anyone gets, is that we don't get aggressive yet. This is not the time. You want that "Retest Swing" on the 130 minute bars.... Like a Daily retest of top, that fails... that is where one gets aggressive. I'm just farting around here.... Trying to justify my time..

We were looking for the Gap and reverse this morning. I never know what the hell to say to people. They don't understand when you say "Looking for". and every time the market makes a 15 minute or 30 minute high. I need a 5 min retest before I want to play. We had a nice 5 min retest today, which failed. It coincided with the resolution of the Triangle, which was why I was .... Why I spent the day watching Ticks instead of working.

"Everybody" wanted to sell it off of the NFP, I put in some small positions. But as I "Dreamed of the market" last night, when I was trying to sleep. I also knew that "Many People" were looking for the resolution of that Triangle...

So about mid day... "The market didn't pay" and I hit eject. I wanted to get out and Work or do something besides ... watch ticks. But the Fast money 5 were all bullish, and it seemed to me like Just about everyone who was "Trading the Resolution of the Triangle" ... well it seemed like they were ready to puke their shorts, ..... and it seemed like one of those moments....

One of those moments traders get... "Where you have to do the Crazy thing"....

Where in my mind, the remaining Bears from last week, that I mentioned how "Everyone was Bearish"... Where the remaining Hold outs.... Were ready to Puke the shorts. and at least capitulate.

Doug Kass puked up some of his Naz shorts..... etc.... Except Doug did "Call top" for time number 143, and time 15 since last week.... Again, NO PERFECT SENTIMENT

but it seemed like maybe we could get a nice downswing out of it.

"and then We see" It feels like in the "Short Term" sentiment is on the Wain.

I have some kind of technicals to sell, and some sentiment.

I'm not ..... I'm still in "Lets see" mode. I'll read the blogs and get some idea overnight.

Doug Kass is still doing his thing. It did seem like he was a little over the bend.

Like I posted last week, he did a bad job of convincing people he was "bullish" no "Bearish"... Something.

His "Best short" IWM has blown up on him.

I also want to point out that the SRS which some stupid Knob took a huge bet on last week. It seems like they did a nice trade. But I've seen it before. The first thing Proshares does when a big bet is put down, is start working the Nav, and somehow you see a nice 2% bite taken out of it, Right after some "Big Investor" makes some Wild Lotto ticket bet. After that there is some bounce, all the other knobs see the trade, just like when old doug runs his mouth off about IWM, and they both run to a new high.

Same shit Different day.

Those are the dangerous things to short on downswings, the other stuff some of the stuff they are all giddy about, that stuff you may have a decent chance with. But when these guys start blowing their mouth off about them. Know it's "misery loves company" and they just want you to take it up the butt with them. Not that there isn't a chance maybe once the Down swing starts to get after them.

As always, know where your opportunities are and where they aren't.

I'll see where everyone is tonight.... but for the most part, everyone is quiet.

There is usually a down swing, through warning season(this week), then maybe a Pop toward the end of the week. If not, anticipation is very high for earnings...

I can't take the time to watch CNBC, so... whatever is going on, I can only catch sentiment through what I'm reading.....

And honestly, I'm not kidding, if there is a "Massive V" Recovery, my problem is the hundreds of thousands of dollars I'll lose sitting here, I'm happy to miss out on 10-20% returns, in the Jerk off of the market. So work is my big goal....

But if that work isn't out there.... I don't lose anything by looking for it, but if that recovery isn't there.... you have plenty to lose in the market.... Risk.... Reward...
